Elevators
Elevators are available in the main building, in three residences and in the underground garage. Every floor can be reached with them. Our elevators are, of course, wheelchair accessible.
Luggage compartment
You are welcome to leave your suitcase at the reception.
Highlights for kids
As a family-friendly hotel, the well-being of our youngest guests is especially important to us. In the ZwergerlClub, kids can discover new toys, play board games, and make new friends. The fun continues in the playroom with air hockey, foosball, darts, and pinball tables. The AquaWellnesspark features a separate children's pool for safe water fun. And during Bavarian school holidays, families with children can often enjoy a special program at no extra charge – guided hikes, family lunches, children's buffets, and more.
Outdoor car park
There are many open air parking lots free of charge right next to the hotel. Please note that their amount is limited - you'll find more parking options in our underground carpark.

AllgäuWalserPass
The Allgäu-Walser Pass is your digital companion for your holiday! With the app, the pass gives you the benefits of the Alpsee-Grünten Guest Card, along with numerous discounts at over 150 partner locations in Allgäu and Kleinwalsertal!
Throughout the region, you can also enjoy free travel on local buses and regional trains starting from just one night’s stay in Sonthofen.
How it works:
- The following information is required to issue the Allgäu Mobile Pass: first and last name, date of birth of all arriving guests, full address, and an email address.
- After providing your information, you will receive a link via email and can conveniently complete all registration formalities from home. Once this is done, you will receive your personal QR code for your Allgäu-Walser Pass.
- Once activated in the Allgäu-Walser app, you can start enjoying the benefits of the Alpsee-Grünten Guest Card on both your arrival and departure days.
The visitor’s tax, payable to the municipality, is currently €2.20 for adults aged 17 and over (from 16 years) and €1.10 for children aged 7 to 16. Starting on December 1, 2024, this fee is expected to increase to €3.20 for adults and €2.20 for children (ages 7 to 16).
AquaWellnessPark
Indoor pool, saunas, relaxation room, whirlpool, children's pool, sun terrace, and outdoor pool in summer: the hotel's own wellness area provides deep relaxation. Your bathrobe and slippers can be found in your wardrobe. Sauna towels are available at the reception.
Bicycle room
Our locked storage room is available for everyone who visits the AllgäuSternHotel with a bike and/or equipment. You can get the access code for it at the reception. Find out more about your bicycle holidays at the AllgäuSternHotel.
Gym
Adjacent to the AquaWellness Park you will find a fitness room and a gym with a mirror wall.

We are happy to provide you with a baby cot including bed linen for a one-off charge of €20.00 per stay.
Underground parking space
Our underground parking garage (€10.00/day) offers exceptionally convenient parking. Electric vehicle charging stations are available in the garage (for a fee). Parking is free when charging your electric car.
A parking ticket is required for all parking spaces in the underground garage. You can obtain one at reception. Parking without a ticket will be charged €20 per day.
Holidays with your dog
That AllgaeuSternHotel is a dog friendly hotel. Your animal friend is welcome in the rooms of our residences (€20.00 per dog per day).
Laundry room
If you require a washing machine or dryer, you are welcome to use our laundry room in the Maximilian Residence for a small fee. Please contact reception if you are interested, or refer to the information in the PDF.
